After shadowing five different wedding photographers, I was given the opportunity to shoot my first solo wedding. Luckily, my sister found an amazing couple who were willing to put up with me on their wedding day.
The wedding was at Big Sky, Montana. This was my first time at Big Sky so I got there about an hour and a half early to scout the area. This was the best advice I ever got because I had plenty of time to walk around the area and find the spots I wanted to shoot later that day. This allowed me to use less of the couple's time as we took their pre-ceremony pictures, which made them very happy.
This couple was so much fun to photograph. They were very laid back and pretty much willing to do anything I asked of them except eating S'mores in their dress clothes. The ceremony was perfect. I was nervous as I was shooting their "first kiss", but I think it may be one of my favorite pictures of the day.
I want to wish Ryan and Kelly a happy future together and a huge thank you for letting me be part of your big day.
