Simple Stir Fry Sauce

Weeknight stirfry sauce, easy, tastes great and very fast to make.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 grams (1 teaspoon) sesame oil
  • 24 grams (2 tablespoons) rice vinegar
  • 65 grams (1/4 cup) soy sauce
  • 140 grams (1/4 cup) chicken broth, vegetable broth or even water
  • 10 grams (1 tablespoon) sriracha
  • 30 grams (1.5 tablespoons) of honey
  • 7 grams (1 tablespoon) arrow root
  • 6 grams (1 tablespoon) fresh ginger, Microplaned (Optional)
  • Red pepper flakes for additional spice (Optional)

This is sauce can turn a basic stir-fry into an incredible weeknight meal. After your stir-fry has completed cooking, add in the sauce, a bit at a time. You want to add enough so you have a nice coating on the stir-fry, but not enough to make a soup. Go slow and taste as you go, remember great food requires patience and numerous tastings.
